This is hands down much better than the book recommended by my NP program - Principles of Dermatology by Marks & Miller. I wish I'd gotten this book instead - more pictures and more conditions than the other book. Highly recommend.
This book is awesome! I am a FNP student who struggles with identifying and describing skin conditions and rashes. This book is very helpful in helping to identify and describe rashes, as well as typical treatments. I’d highly recommend it for anyone in the medical field needing help with skin/rashes!
this is a great book and I would have given it 5 stars, but it has come to my attention that I should have received a CD with the book, which I did not. The book also mentions online videos, but does not provide any type of code or information to access those videos.So make sure if you are purchasing this book you have everything you need/want from it.
Great referance tool for assisting in diagnosing dermatological symptoms. Many pictures with each and great descriptions. It has been helpful in the beginning of my new role as a clinician.
The book is organized well and covers all the derm subjects I might ever need to know. I bought in on the recommendation of a former professor and I'm glad I did. I'll use it a lot in practice. I'll be working in primary care, so I won't see derm enough to get really good on my own. This book will help a lot.
